OUR STORY
This has been a super long term project, and we are really relieved to finally get it finished. Me and my dad have been working on it for maybe five years now, although I started the process probably five years before that, buying my first DAW and trying to get to grips with its incredible complexity. It is, for sure, a steep learning curve and although I'm only beginning to scratch the surface of what these incredible pieces of software can do, I'm delighted that I have graduated from the first two or three years when the urge to throw the laptop out of a window was so incredibly strong.
In short, we've worked hard to try and make a decent album so we hope you like it. We are happy with the material although I now appreciate it to be a very subjective process, where I might love a song one day and be literally embarrassed by it the next. At some point however, you have to stop tinkling and just get the thing out there.
All the Lyrics and stems from the tracks are available for free, with no royalties at all. A present from us to you - go and enjoy yourselves! We also aim to upload a new song and stems once a month so eventually we should have a considerable database. We are gonna release a song a month with a small video and our hope is to do this for as long as we can as we are still making music while we put these songs out there.
We have a few guidelines below if you could take a few minutes to read them, that would be greatl. We're not Nazis, so we aren't gonna trawl the internet and hound out anyone who doesn't adhere, but we hope that by building a model based on being nice, it will kind of happen in a cool and organic way.
Bamboozer HATES money, but unfortunately we all need it! If you have a few sheckles to spare we would really appreciate it and can 100% guarantee that it goes straight back into making music, and we definitely will not spend it on cheap gargle... If you are broke, forget about it. Treat yourself instead!
- These royalty free-stems and lyrics are for independent artists, not huge companies or massive arena-tour bands. Our focus is on grass roots musicians, happy to give some inspiration if and where we can.
- Like-wise film companies and radio shows, if (in the unbelievably unlikely event that) you want to use our songs, get in touch and we can work something out.
- If you use any of our stuff just credit us in the notes. The song doesn't have to say “Feat. Bamboozer”. But please do at least credit us with the lyrics or instrumentals.
- Also please think about submitting your song for our remix catalogue. You can email us with a track at bamboozermusic@gmail.com or send a link in the mail feature below. We are actually running a competition at the minute with the winner to be announced early October to win €100!! We have to verify any song is radio-ready in terms of production quality, but our aim is to build a library over time with a huge diversity of styles and influence. It would be massively appreciated also, if you made your stems available for others' use, though this is not essential. We will of course include a link to your site or spotify account or whatever you want us to do.
- If you use our site a fair bit, please consider buying something from us, or even becoming a subscriber and help directly fund our creative process. Our hope is to continue to make music and continue to offer that music for free use to the community. It can get pretty pricey though (as you well know!) and any financial support is really, really appreciated.
